In spring 2018 I worked on the Prologue for the Netflix series 'Maniac'. The series editor had a rough edit for this opening section of the 1st episode along with guide VO and some stock shots. The team at Absolute Post & Blind Pig took this and created all of the VFX sequences needed, alot of which was full CG but also comped stock footage. I spent alot of time sourcing relevant stock shots, updating the edit as it progressed from previs towards the later render stages, as well as editing sections like the seed/plant growth from stock and shaping the prologue overall as ideas evolved. It was a fantastic project to be able to work on, especially given the amount of creative scope that was given to us.
